leandrofg 1,156
As the title suggests, I'd like to maximize my opportunities in the next couple of weeks. In fairness, I'd like to get as much done as possible before I go on vacation to avoid thinking about the VHL too much. With Maverick's rookie experience completed and this being the last .com article written against the uncapped package, it's time to write that long overdue Hall of Fame story for @Enorama. I'm shamelessly pinging to increase the pressure. Will I avoid thinking about sim leagues? Who knows! I might even consider joining the Pro Baseball Experience, considering where I'm going. Should I join after I get excited about watching the Carps play live? Should I go somewhere else as well? If anyone reads this, have you ever gone to a game in the Mazda Zoom-Zoom Stadium? I want to go to the Kyocera and/or Tokyo Dome too! Worth it? What about a small trip to Yokohama? I digress, but yes - let's get that free week. jacobcarson877 2,528
Putting the pressure on me to get @Aimee 's done as well this week! Just like last time, you've been holding me accountable for my earning, and I don't think I would be doing as well as I am without you! Enjoy the vacation my friend! Yes, Great experience but on a hot day the sun can nearly beat you to death so be care not to drink too much bring fans, hat etc... not sure the time of day of your game but evening games are much nicer! As if I remember correct they built the stadium in a way that the sun set behind you so you get great cover from afternoon heat. Also it is finally starting to cool off here so should be too bad!! Yes, since you will be visiting the three big teams in Japan if you got to a game in Osaka and Tokyo. All three games and stadiums will be a different experience so yes, worth doing. I have never been to Yokohama but I heard it is cannot miss since it is a blend of Japanese and American with a tone of American companies due to the Americans having a major base near by. Which is also funny since it is where one of the only China towns in Japan is also located!! LOL!! From as baseball aspect, I would guess it wouldn`t be a top stadium or location due to already visiting the big three teams. Stadiums ranked by Japanese baseball: 1. Koshien Stadium 2. Mazda Zoom-Zoom Stadium Hiroshima 3. Meiji Jingu Stadium (torn down due to Olympics and now a rugby stadium) 4. Rakuten Seimei Park Miyagi (Sendai) 5. Yokohama Stadium 6. Tokyo Dome So I guess Yokohama would be worth a game after all!! leandrofg 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/150862-maximizing-opportunities/#findComment-1036818 Share on other sites

They have a few games while I'm in Osaka, so pairing it with a small trip to Kobe would be nice! I don't want to bore my wife too much with baseball, but I want to catch a few games! I'm very excited about our trip to Japan, I hope I can enjoy it to the fullest while we're there! (I just noticed your location is "Japan" so I might be asking some questions ) Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/150862-maximizing-opportunities/#findComment-1036880 Share on other sites
