Within hours of hearing he was drafted by the Las Vegas Aces in the VHLM Dispersal Draft, James Pearson, Son of former VHL player Alex Pearson, was getting off the plane with his family to celebrate. His dad got him set up in an apartment around the corner from the Aces arena and facilities.

 

James Pearson has a slightly more aggressive style than his father who focused more in his skating and vision, the two of them definitely have a knack for finding the back of the net. James led his U16 team in points and goals with 35 Goals and 57 Points in 32 Games. 
 

After getting settled he hit the Las Vegas strip with his father, who snuck him into a few casinos and reportedly won big, before the manager realized he was underage and chased them out. He spent the rest of the evening at the Aces practice facility, Skating with his father bad a few former VHL players and including Ryan Ryker, who was living in Vegas. Pearson stated in a recent interview he’s overjoyed to be a member of the Aces organization, and he can’t wait to meet his Teammates.
