Stepping down from Recruitment Head

I’m stepping down from recruitment head. It’s impossible when no one else pitches in and no one wants to do the role/applies for hiring. I’d rather take 7 minutes to write a media spot for 6 TPE than spend hours a week responding to emails, reaching out to people, working on recruitment gathering and facing criticism from some for the exact same.
 

No one wants to help and it’s incredibly exhausting doing it by yourself. I’d rather give my full attention to my Seattle Bears family and the VHL in my management role while I still have enough in the tank - and this has certainly been emptying my tank in MASSIVE amounts - so hopefully it can be fuelled back up.. 

League needs someone 100% in the recruitment roles and unfortunately, being a lone wolf this whole time has put me in a place where - if I am alone like this, I just can’t (and don’t want to) do it.

It’s definitely not an easy job from what I can tell, but a very important one! Despite what anyone has said, I think you’ve done a great job and it surely can’t be easy to take on a lot of it alone.  Doing that on top of everything else you do around the league— it’s absolutely understandable that it’s becoming too much.  I thought about helping a bit when you were looking a while back, but I was worried a bit about taking on too much too fast and burning out.  
 

Anyway, thank you for all you’ve added to the league in this position!  I hope the community finds a dedicated replacement that can fill your shoes
