They banned me along with another member who they are talking to but they have silenced me out completely leaving me no choice but to take potential drastic action. Is there anyone who can help me? I thought this was a pretty inclusive place but ever since I have come out about my sexuality things have seemed to change for the worse. Spartan 4,509 Posted December 6 Share Posted December 6 Instead of a spam spree, why don't you appeal to a member of the Blue team if you think the moderator response isn't helpful? There's people over the mods if you think they're not acting accordingly to their role. Seems more productive and less concerning than the crash out you've had on forums since then. To be fair, from what I know at least there have been multiple complaints sent to the Blues regarding the actions of certain mods and yet nothing has come from that. And from what I'm privy to, deeper discussions on these topics only started yesterday evening - and the escalation in question was only yesterday morning or early afternoon. I may be chilling and available since I'm working from home, that's not the case for everyone, especially the people involved. If people expect immediate results and actions over what is claimed to be a serious issue with moderation and staff behavior, then I don't think their expectations and intentions are in the right place. I know things take time to process but it's a relatively known ongoing issue that's yet to be seriously addressed I'm only aware of another instance months ago and that had Blue communication with moderators, if there's other instances by people trying to skirt the rules and be generally problematic, I haven't seen staff responses to that rise to the level of needing to be addressed. I'm also specifically speaking to the situation of the past couple days, I'm not condoning or excusing other behavior in the past by certain members who actively make inflammatory comments and make areas of the community a place people want to avoid.
