What a boring season...

Well... the season has come to an end, and although the VHL just saw a wildcard showdown in the Cup Finals, I thought this season was spectacularly boring. Sim after sim after sim I saw no adjustment, no willingness to change or adjust tactics; it seemed like the strategy was to just ride great goaltending and excellent defense to a championship. Well, unsurprisingly, the Merlin fell to a weaker Halifax team with no real contest when it should have been a cake walk [comparatively]: there was just no offense when it mattered. Quite clearly I lost interest in the VHLM before the mid-season point, and what is worse, I was absolutely available to write 2,000 word articles on how the team and Trokker were progressing... but the season sucked my soul away. The team did great and I'm glad those players that performed had great seasons, but as an individual, it was everything but memorable. 

Weak, uninteresting, soul sucking and unfun.

But now it's time to rise up as a dark horse for the upcoming VHL draft. Engaged I am an max earner, disinterested I am a welfare+ player.
