Time for my first official graphic review!

I have to say I really like this graphic a lot, I am a big sucker for graphics where the subject is in color with the rest of the image in black and white.  You did a great job with that, I don't really see any color bleeding or any thing that distracts the viewer's eye.  If I had to nitpick something with that, I think the small pant leg poking out under the arm of #7 could be purple as well if I'm seeing the photo correctly, but it isn't obvious to the viewer.  It was smart to put the logo on the pants and doing the name swap on the jersey to give it the full VHL feel.  Maybe you could hit the name swap with a slight perspective warp, but it doesn't feel out of place on the jersey.

Putting the text behind the punch does a great job of giving the graphic depth and I like the color choices in the stats.  It could be cool to see some effects on the name text at the top, whether some lighting effects or some sort of overlay that merges it into the graphic more.  But overall this is very aesthetically pleasing to me, I think you did a great job.

For some graphic context, the player Womp Jr is about to lay out is Vinny Lecavelier. It's the only fight Womp Jr won playing for Davos! I had to sift through all their games in the index for that season... 😩

Thank you for having me as your first graphic review! This was a good read and all valid critiquing. I masked out the player and would've gone back on the pants and jersey where you see between Lecavelier's head and right arm...but laziness consumed me at that point. Thank you, commissioners, for making me resubscribe to Photoshop...

Back in the day, this was me! Honestly, I do not mind the subscription... It is much more affordable than outright paying for the software.

Raising the flag was so much easier before Creative Cloud. Now I’m just lucky work has an account that I can sign into every once in awhile haha

While there is more done than what meets the eye, overall it looks like a very basic piece. Not trying to hate, but this is what I could expect to be seen for supplementary task, not the main graphics. The pluses are that you have done a good jersey and name swap on the players. You have a great idea of making everything greyed out, besides the actual player and that gives it a nice accent. Last, but not least is the picture itself. Very interesting one that captivates you on its own. Now the things that I dont like is the text. All the stats are just placed on top of the picture without any attempt to blend it nicely with the picture. Maybe a boarder would have make it look nicer.
