Back again

So as you can tell, I've decided to return and recreate for the S100 draft. This is my first time with an active player in almost two years, since Milan Dvorak retired after S90. Funny enough, that was actually the first time that I've not immediately recreated since joining the league - even though I've had spells of inactivity, I've usually been inactive with a player, rather than inactive without one like I've been for the last ~7 seasons. In that context, this isn't actually a huge comeback or anything, but I wasn't 100% sure that I'd even come back in the first place. When I was reaching the end of Jean-Pierre Camus' career in S79-80, I initially planned to take a break before recreating, which I probably should've done. Instead I changed my mind, recreated at the deadline, and subsequently went inactive. This obviously didn't work, and my interest in the league was at an all-time low, I think partially due to fatigue and also missing out on the same enjoyable locker room experience that I'd had in Chicago with Camus. Plus at this point I'd kind of felt like I'd done all that I wanted to do in the league, so I wasn't particularly motivated to make another player. 

What's made me come back this time, then? Well, I've thought for a few years now that I definitely want to be around for S100, and my thought was that if I ever recreated again I'd do it to be a part of the S100 class. On top of that, another big cause of my inactivity was starting grad school two years ago, and I'll be graduating with my master's degree in about a month so my schedule (for the moment) has cleared up. I started seriously thinking about recreating a few months ago, and instead of losing enthusiasm for it I ended up looking forward to the possibility more and more. It's been fun getting back into the league - having to think about a player build in the new hybrid system has been interesting, and the present VHLM waivers format was new to me (so much so that I didn't even use it correctly!). I have no idea how this player is going to turn out, but I've enjoyed things so far.
