VHL.com Articles are Boring

Listen, it’s something most of us have to do every week, snd that results is simple boring bland articles. Maybe someone will write some fan fiction about their player and their partner. Maybe someone will point out an issue with the league, but it’ll be ignored because who actually reads these things. However, most likely you’ll write about something VHL related, maybe your team, or your players last couple games and we’ll all glaze over it and forget we ever saw it.

The worst part? I don’t even blame people for their bland articles. After you’ve just spent an hour on a Media Spot or graphic, do you really want to write 150 words? No.

Do I have a solution for this? Not really. I just think we should make point tasks and their respective supplemental tasks easy quick hits instead of things you need to spend an hour on. Hell, maybe switch to a format were we earn once for two weeks. Just make it easier.

p.s. I get pension next week :)

Honestly I'd rather write 3 vhl.com articles than a Media Spot. I find it so much easier to have three 150-200 word ideas than a 500 word idea.

I will tell you what my issue is with that. Because I don't have a lot of hockey knowledge, I don't know I'd I could come up with 3 separate topics to write on...
