I've had a bad couple of weeks. Well, the whole year has sucked but it's been escalating. If you saw my .com last week, you'll be largely filled in. Applied for a job this week around 9:30. Got an email at 12:40p that they were very impressed with my resume. Talked to a screener at 2p. Had the next step the next day at 3:30p. Four rounds of interviews for this one, though. Regardless of whether or not I get it, it felt good for my ego to have such a quick and positive response to my resume. 

 

I hope Konstyantyn Shevchenko's resume can be as impressive some day. Sometimes I wonder if Shev is following the Ravenwing model of peaking really late in his career. I mean, if Shev decides to put up 343 points over his next 3 seasons, like Essian Ravenwing did almost 50 seasons ago, I'm not going to complain. I really don't know what to expect for next season. Being the top line center isn't something I had planned on, but here we are. I wouldn't object to hitting the century mark with a 50-50 season. Having a really good 2nd line is going to hopefully lead to some blowout victories, as well, and as a friend of mine in high school described the county fair when the students of various schools had Free Entry, it's Stat Day. She was a strange one, but the world back then was so much simpler.
