Six year New York American forward Tom Slaughter officially landed across the ocean in Stockholm, Sweden yesterday evening, a day ahead of training camp for Season 43. The prolific forward has averaged approximately 100 points per season during his time in New York, helping the team capture two Continental Cups in his time there. The Vikings also added long-time teammate of Tom's Brick Wahl. Wahl will be entering his last season in the league and is hopeful to capture one more Cup.

"I want to thank the fans in New York for their support over the years. Without them, we wouldn't have been able to have such an excellent run of success. I'm sad to leave, but also excited to be joining a team in need of that extra step. As a well tenured veteran in the league now, I feel this may just be my year to finally break out. I'm really excited about our team, I think we've got what should be a championship quality roster here already in camp," Slaughter said at the press conference.
