Don Draper, after hearing of the decision to rebuild, looks around the locker room to find only emptiness.

HELSINKI, Finland

We're now nearing the three-quarter mark of Season 43, and we haven't heard a peep out of the Helsinki Titans defender, Don Draper, ever since his general manager made the controversial decision to rebuild last off-season. With the majority of the team being shipped off to rival teams, Draper was left playing for nothing on a team full of nobodies. The exceptions of course are Tyson Stokes and Oskars Harumpf, who Draper was once rumoured to have credited for his continued motivation to play.

The trade deadline is now fast approaching, and it will be interesting to see what happens to the remaining Helsinki players. It's expected some will hang on to the sinking ship, but my guess is that at least one player won't be wearing Teal for much longer. One must wonder, however, what implications this rebuild will have on the career of Don Draper. Will he tolerate another team, or will he play out his contract and leave the VHL? Perhaps he will return to advertising?

I could speculate, but I'd rather not. We'll have to wait and see.

This 590, forgoing my commissioner pay for this week, puts me at 1009 TPE. That's 1 more TPE than Mitch Higgins. My career may have been lack luster, but I will take great comfort in retiring with this number.
