Once upon a time, not so long ago there was a young hockey player from Finland who enjoyed spending his time outdoors. Mostly sitting behind his house and relaxing by the pool. Everything was fine, sun was shining but out of nowhere, young boy who lives next door to Jorma yelled: Jorma! somebody is trying to steal your sticks from your garage!

Jorma got up and started running towards his garage. When he gets in front of his house and sees his garage, Jorma picks up a axe and slowly walks closer and closer. He can´t hear anything, it´s almost like nobody is in the garage. Then the little boy starts laughing loudly, he lied to Jorma. Nobody tried to steal his sticks. He did it for fun.

Jorma was furious but managed to calm himself down and instructed the little boy to stop doing that. Lying is bad and it can really ruin peoples lives. Little boy looked like he understood the message and went back home. Five days later, Jorma was again relaxing at the pool. Enjoying glorious Ottawa summer when somebody yelled: Jorma , Jorma! Somebody is in your garage!

Jorma once again got up, picked up his axe that he now keeps by his pool for protection. Ran to the garage and started to listen if he hears anything. Nothing, nobody was in the garage.  The silence ends all of a sudden when the little boy once again starts laughing. Jorma was noticeably angry but again managed to calm himself down. After all it was just young boy who tried to be funny. Jorma gave the little boy the same lesson but with more aggressive tone: stop lying you little shit.

The little boy went home crying but at least now Jorma was confident that this was the last time something like this happens.  No! The same thing happened one week later. Jorma was relaxing in the pool when the little boy screamed: Jorma!!! Somebody is stealing your stuff from the garage!

Jorma did not believe the little boy and just kept on relaxing. One hour later he went to get something from his garage when he noticed that the door was open, the whole garage was empty. Somebody stole everything in the garage. The little boy was telling the truth but Jorma did not believe him because he was a liar. Jorma demanded that the little boys parents pay everything that the thieves stole from the garage but eventually Jorma had to accept his faith. Little boys parents did not have enough money to pay for all the stuff that was missing.

Luckily the police managed to recover most of Jorma stuff on the next day.

Remember kids, the real lesson on this story is that lying is never good. It might get you in serious trouble if you keep on lying.
