Da Trifecta 1,902 Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 Niklaus Mikaelson knew that helping get Pablo Escabar into the VHL would be a good thing. The kid had a knack for playing hockey and winning. He wanted to come into the league and show that he can play with the best of them. He seemed to get off to a pretty solid start as he only had to spend one season in the minors system. Normally players spend at least two seasons in the minors, but not Escabar. He worked his way through the league so quickly that he was already a Bear following being drafted. He made haste of making sure that he was going to be a pro. He was ready and willing to prove his worth. During the season he got his chance to start on the top line with legendary defender Phil Villeneuve. This would be something that could help the team and it was key to Escabar getting the best experience. After winning a cup, he was shipped off to Helsinki where he looks to be one of the teams top defenders. Hopefully he can mesh well with others and it works out for him.
