Smarch 3,153
Team Ahma With the Super Cup getting under way this afternoon, teams have finally had a chance to show what if any chemistry they gained in a quick few days. Some teams shot out the gate, but that couldn't be said for Team Ahma. Possessing some of the finest players in the VHL, the team looks like a team that could make some noise on paper. While the team hasn't geld early on only two games have been played in the tournament, so anything could still happen in the coming days. Today we'll look into the roster and who could be an impact player in this seasons Super Cup. Thomas O'Malley- Helsinki Titans After the best season of his young career, Thomas O'Malley would be considered the big man on campus for Team Ahma. O'Malley led the league during the regular season in goals, assists, and points, but came up short in his bid for a second straight Continental Cup. After the season O'Malley found himself being shipped out of Cologne to the rebuilding Helsinki Titans to help the European franchise to right the ship after a few horrid seasons. O'Malley was the second pick in the Super Cup Draft, behind Tom Slaughter, so the high draft pick comes with high expectations. O'Malley has one goal and one assist in the first two games so far, but look for him to break out once he builds more chemistry with new line-mates. Freedom McJustice- HC Davos Dynamo The third year forward from the Davos Dynamo will look to use the Super Cup to work on improving on a mediocre season. McJustice finished sixth on the Dynamo this season in points with thirty-two goals and thirty-seven assists. After a disappointing regular season in Davos that saw McJustice struggle and the Dynamo make a fast exit from the playoffs, McJustice is looking to help a team make a push for a championship. McJustice will likely see an expanded role from what he is expected of in Davos, and we'll see how the young forward will respond will the additional ice time. Over the next few games, fans from around the league will be looking to see if McJustice if ready to take steps in becoming a franchise player and help Team Ahma to a Super Cup championship. Callum Sinclair- HC Davos Dynamo Another member of the European Davos Dynamo, Sinclair may be the biggest piece to the Team Ahma puzzle, With a fairly young team in front of him, Sinclair will be looked to duplicate his great regular season. Sinclair played in the full sixty-four games for the Dynamo this past season and put up a 41-19-4 record. Sinclair just finished his third season in the VHL and has been constantly improving since breaking into the league back in season forty-two. With a superior defense infront of him in Davos, this tournament will let Sinclair show the VHL he is the real deal with the patch-work defense that Team Ahma has put together. Sinclair has struggled out of the gate during the first two games in the tournament, but look for Sinclair to turn in around in the up-coming games. jRuutu and eaglesfan036 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/23427-team-ahma-final-66/ Share on other sites
