Moscow is Good

With another week in the books, I have yet another chance to espouse the greatness of the Moscow Red Wolves for a quick TPE grab.

With about a third of the season gone, the Red Wolves stand at an amazing 21-2-2 for a VHLM-leading 44 points. The don't have the top offense or the top defense, but their goal differential is well ahead of any other team in the minors. It's easy to forget that the VHLM has two-team divisions, a fact I literally did not know until right before I typed this sentence, but the Nordic Division is killing it right now. In addition to Moscow, the Oslo Storm have 40 points in the standings, second in the entire league.

Individually, the Red Wolves are led by the high-assisting duo of Arcturus Mengsk and World B. Free, two defensemen who stand at first and third in the league in assists. Moscow also boasts two top-ten goal scorers in Jace Hines and Pete Stockton, but their lack of a true world-beater in goal scoring really speaks to the team's depth.

Also, in goal, Sandro Clegane. I need not say any more.

Moscow is good, are we not?
