For the last few weeks, I haven't been motivated, inspired to do anything for my VHL player. Only welfare claims and lucky Fantasy Zone guesses. I haven't had any real interest in the VHL. It has only been those regular checks on the site. It has been fun to see Valmount and Davos doing great. I could write about that but no. I will write about why I have been "lazy" for the last few weeks.

 

I'll start with the TPE accident/thing, some members are familiar with it, and some are not. So, I have a VHL EU Player Page Updater job. And I get 1 TPE for every 3 pages I update, but it was for sometime 1 TPE for every 4-player pages I update, because Draper was nice and helped us updaters a little. Personally, I think I have done my job quite well. But I'm a human and I make mistakes. Sometimes I miss a players awards, especially the VHLM awards which are in my opinion, hard to track. But still, I think I did well, but I did make mistakes that are understandable, last offseason was my first time doing a VHL job, any job. And I had to update many things on EU player's pages. Since, the last EU Player Page Updater (Streetlight?) finished his job poorly. I was left with players missing a lot of information, that are supposed to be already updated.

I did my job and updated every player page, with missing things. I claimed my job payout from it. That is where the problem comes. I hate the system...

 

Okay, so, I claimed my job payout. After claiming all of the job payout TPE, a week or so after it Phil decided to say in Updating Attention Thread, that I've gone over the weekly TPE cap. Then everyone was like "punish him, make the poor Finn pay". Honestly, I had no idea that it was capped TPE; I'm a human, "I CAN'T REMEMBER EVERYTHING GUYS!". In the beginning Reilly updated my player attributes because ********* brovy didn't do it; although he told me he'll do it. After that it started to go downhill.

 

Brovy told everyone that I've gone over the weekly cap by 21 TPE although it's 23 TPE over. Then the thread had some discussion about the job and it's payout.

After some time brovy said this: "Ahma if you could make a new post removing the 23tpe that would be great." I was like "Fuck no, not going to happen."

And the decision was that I’d have to get those 23 TPE back by doing PT's and stuff. I worked that out with Draper.

 

"Fuck this, fuck this TPE thing, fuck me" Valmount said and his agent said the same thing.      

 

In the end, there must have been many members that checked out my player updates. All those people could have TOLD ME that, "hey job payout is capped dude" but no it didn't happen. Also, brovy didn't care about me going over the limit (he said this: "Whoops little bastard was flying under the radar." Fuck you brovy. I blame him for this; he should have told me that it's capped. I blame you brovy. What brovy got from this? Nothing, he hasn't given a fuck about it. Phil, I nothing to say to you.

 

 

And I've told some members that I don't care about capped TPE, but I would have cared about IF I would have been told that job payout is capped TPE!!!

 

Now I'd like to suggest something. The job payout system is in my opinion stupid. I get that TPE from like 2 weeks of updating in offseason. And I usually do Media Spots every week and vhl.com articles too. So that leaves me with claiming 2-job payout TPE every week. And I have claim that TPE for the next eternity. I suggest that the job payout is uncapped but there's a limit you can claim it in a week.

 

That's it for that. My non-interested, lazy take on VHL started with hearing that I have to give 20 (theoretically already earned) TPE back; I didn't like it.

Also, I faced tough times in real life too, which made everything so much tougher and harder.

Times I go through now are sad, depressing, tough and bad. It has been very time consuming also.

Content 3/3 - Well, I'm sorry that there was a miscommunication about the job payout, but I figured that it was well known. I don't think job TPE should be uncapped at all. Updaters have piles of unclaimed/banked TPE because of the system, but that's how it goes. Hopefully your interest picks up again!

1. I "decided" to mention it in the Attention Updating Thread, because it is something that the updaters should be aware of

 

2. It's stated pretty clearly when you applied for the job

 

3. Absolutely agree. And this should have been caught by the updater as soon as it happened. But it was not. That part is not your fault.

 

4. That was the first since you joined that I checked your update thread. The only reason I did was because I was doing a profile on Valmount for KnightTime Podcast. As soon as I saw the mistake.... because it dated back over the span of a month... there was no point telling you - this needed to be brought to the attention of the updaters... cuz they fucked up. 

 

5. This is probably one of the most disrespectful things anyone on here has ever said. I have done nothing but give give give to you. I helped you acclimate into the league, I gave you the opportunity to have a job in the league, I proofread almost ever single Media Spot you've written since joining... I have answered the 6 pages of questions you've had willingly and always in a timely fashion (this doesn't even include the questions in the chat box). You and the updaters make a mistake.... and you have nothing to me?

I appreciate your job here more than anyone else's, and Im serious about that.

I've had shitty time and bad things happening to me in real life for quite a long time.
