DAVOS, SWITZERLAND - HC Davos Dynamo goaltender Callum Sinclair has been an interesting player.  After being drafted second overall by Davos in the Season 42 draft, Sinclair was expected to add to Davos' history of great goaltenders such as Daisuke Kanou and Benoit Devereux.  However, Sinclair has often proven to be the second or third best goalie in the league over his career.  Often, he has started the season very well with a save percentage around .930, but has declined in the second half of the season.  But these glimpses of greatness have given many Davos fans hope that Sinclair can start to put it together and become a top goalie in the VHL.

In Davos' first round playoff matchup against the Riga Reign, fans saw another sign of Sinclair's potential.  Leading the Dynamo to their second consecutive 4-0 sweep of the Reign, the American goaltender posted a total save percentage of .965 over four games - with at least a .950 in all four.  Notable performances included a 25-save shutout in the first game of the series and a 38-save, triple overtime win in Game 3.  After outdueling Hans Wingate (who looks set to win his second career Shaw trophy), Sinclair and the Dynamo will now move on to face a new challenge - the high-octane offense of the Helsinki Titans, led by the VHL's top point scorer Thomas O'Malley.  However, time will tell if Sinclair can continue to put up great performances like against Riga.
