the font is great. in my opinion. im not a sig expert but the simplistic look is great

Imgur Has a dark BG which is probably why it looks normal there. It's exactly the same in both places but your eyes are adjusting to the white BG so it looks dark. In any case, I can see the effort you put in with the JC which is nice but you need to do more with your sigs to really make them pop. Stock work and lighting can go a long way. Text also needs some work. Positioning first of all needs to be closer to the render; don't draw the eye away from the render or it makes for a confusing piece. Also, get the text closer together and maybe try a sans-serif font. Keep working at it, you'll get better.

yup, beketov said it, it's probably a contrast thingy. I feel like the whole sig is too dark (like you mentionned) so you could create a layer on color dodge filled with black and softly brush with a low opacity white brush to make it brighter. The orange lens flare at the left is a good idea too to give a general coloring to the sig. Keep working buddy, practice makes perfect.
