Higgins 3,618
YUKON HIT A GOLD MINE Unassisted, Tyson Kohler, and Black Velvet. Yukon Rush tickets are now worth their weight in gold and demand has sky rocketed since last season. In S46 the Yukon rush arena was only filled to 33 percent capability on average, but it's a whole different story in S47 as the official attendance records are showing a 100% capacity, with tickets going for as much as 300 dollars. The Yukon Rush have added an arsenal of talent to their team for Season 47, but most notable are three players who could all be the potential first overall draft pick in this years VHL Entry Draft. These big three players have aspirations of becoming VHL all-stars in the future, but for right now they are playing in the high Canadian arctic for the Yukon Rush, who currently sit second in the conference with a record of 12-8-0. The team has aspirations of a Founder's Cup championship for this season, as they know this will be the last season for all three of these big named players as they are poised to make the jump to the VHL after draft day. Black Velvet is currently leading the way on the point as a power play specialist as he currently has 9 power play goals. Velvet relishes the opportunity to play with such great forwards who can set him up for his lethal point shot. Unassisted is leading the team in assists with 16, and is quickly becoming a fan favourite as evidenced by the popularity of his jersey. Tyson Kohler started the season slow, as he was adjusting to life in the true north, but has come on strong lately and has 15 points, no doubt he will be looking to dominate the opposition with his goal scoring touch come time for the playoffs. In other news, the teams goal song has been officially changed to Patio Lanterns, by Canadian songwriter and Juno award winner Kim Mitchell. eaglesfan036 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/27372-no-chill-in-yukon/ Share on other sites
