Pretty sure it was just to match the jerseys but it does give an overall feel of all-star which is cool. Lighting and focus could be a little better, maybe darken / blur out Burns a bit so that Scott stands out more as a focus. Stock works is pretty good. Personally, I thought it was difficult to add a font for this theme, so I guess writing "VHL all-stars" is fine.
