Bratislava Watchmen’s top center and HC Davos prospect, Vincent Adultman, was able to play in the Young Star game this weekend. After the game I was able to interview Adultman, bellow are from the interview.

 

Hey Vincent, thanks for sitting down with us. You just played in the Young Star game, how was it?

 

It was fun to play in the game, even better that it was a game that is just for fun. It’s such a surreal feeling to be a part of history too, with this format happening for the first time.

 

In this game you were able to play alongside some of your current and former teammates, in Muller, Lincoln, Podarok, Ovechkin, Velvet & Zhumbayev. Were you able to catch up with them before the game and how did it feel playing alongside them again?

 

Shawn Muller was at the game? Hmm, didn’t notice. I was able to talk to Muller, Lincoln and Velvet before the game, the other three I still share a team with them so no need to catch up with them. I tried to talk Muller and Lincoln into buying me dinner, since they are getting paid the big bucks in the big league, but they wouldn’t saying something about how they don’t remember playing with me in the finals. Didn’t really play with Velvet, Muller or Lincoln during the game though as we were on different lines, but playing alongside my current linemate, Podarok, allowed it to feel a little bit like a normal game.

 

You had a solid game out there, getting two goals on your only two shots. Do you think you had a good game out there?

 

I think I had an ok game, not the best but not the worst. Although I really wish I had got that third shot off so I could get the hattrick, but that never happened. I would rather have got the win though, but the other team deserved it, and Skovgaard had an amazing game for the other guys.

 

Do you think you will be playing in the game next season, should there be another one?

 

It’s too early to tell. I could have a really bad season next season and not be asked to it. Hopefully I either make it to this game or the all-star game next season, but again it’s too early to tell. However if I play another season in the VHLM I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to make the game next year.

 

Final question, out of all the players drafted to St. Pierre, who would you have liked to have played with?

 

Hmm, that’s a tough question. Probably Dadonov, since he was the top goalie during the game and might have got us a better chance to win.

Nice interview. That first paragraph was a bit sketchy though. "He was able to..." "I was able to..." seemed awkward as did "bellow (below) are from the interview"
