Jamie 438 Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 Although Brennan McQueen hasn't exactly played for the Riga Reign yet, it's been sort of lonely for the young winger as the rebuild is in full swing. Today a trade was announced that saw the fourth overall pick in the draft traded to Riga in exchange for some later picks and a player. The Reign now hold numbers 2, 4 and 5 in the draft which is exciting. So far the roster is just composed of McQueen and Szatkowski, both coming off their championship win with the Lynx in the VHLM. But now with those picks, there is a possibility of adding 3 more VHL-ready players to the team. The rebuild is looking very promising and Riga also holds two 1st round picks in the next draft. Needless to say, McQueen won't be very lonely for much longer and the locker room should be much more fun come the start of season 36. Cologne's S35 is up to 29 right now Like many have said, Cologne has one of the most active LRs in the league.
