The logo is MASSIVELY blown out which takes all the focus away from the render and moves it to the BG, you never want to have that. Canvas size is also creating issues, get it down a bit. As a general rule I don't like to work with larger than 400x200 but once you know how to work within that general rule you can branch out a bit more. Text doesn't really work but you're learning so I like that you didn't try to go for something insanely complex as most do at first. 701 309 Posted June 9, 2016 Share Posted June 9, 2016 The second render is very unnecessary here. and the contrast on it is out of this world (well the contrast on everything is outrageous). The text is very basic, and could be much better (even placement wise). I strongly suggest looking around at some signature tutorials, and other photoshop/gimp tutorials.
