jRuutu 2,464 Posted June 16, 2016 Share Posted June 16, 2016 In the game against Toronto Legion, I managed to break the glorious 50 goal mark for the first time in my entire career! I was also the first one in the league this year to break it. There will be at least few more players who will break the 50 goal mark this year, at least hopefully. I mean, scoring 50 goals in one season is always special and when the playing days are over, you can look back on the things you achieved on your career with a lot of pride. I must admit that the success I have experienced over the years have been a lot more than I ever dreamed. I came into this league as a rookie who was just looking to secure a playing spot from a VHL team, now years later I´m the leading goal scorer in the same league. Just goes to show that if you work hard and have patience, good things will happen. Of course little bit of luck never hurts. I could easily just miss the net or hit a post, but for some reason this year the puck just goes in almost with every shot I take. Hopefully I manage to keep my scoring touch for remaining of the regular season and especially in the playoffs.
