There maybe more then just SWC3 left on the open market but he is the last of the truly big names left. All bids are in and it's down to the last two teams. But why is it down to Cologne and Seattle? How did it get here?

 

Toronto was widely viewed as the favorite team to land SWC3's services but last night Toronto seemed to have pulled out. They wanted a decision and SWC3 refused to give it to them. It was a stalemate and one side decided to budge and back out. Will Toronto regret not picking up SWC3? probably not because they will most likely be in the final. Will SWC3 regret it? we will see, it all depends if he takes the Cologne offer or not.

 

Davos had a small shot but that shot kind of imploded when the team refused to up their offer even after losing some players to FA

 

But with all that said why are Cologne and Seattle the last two teams

 

Cologne has a solid pitch. They have all the pieces in place that can give Toronto a run for their money. All they really need is a player like SWC3 to complete the roster.SWC3 sees himself fitting well with the team. He gets along with a many members of the team. The only real question is how will SWC3 and Tyson Kholer (don't care enough to look at proper spelling) get along. To say the two's agents have a spotty history is putting it nicely. Both agents have said their players can co-exist but can they really? Which really begs the question is the only thing that is holding up this match made in heaven between Cologne and SWC3 really if he can get along with Tyson? if so is SWC3 cocky enough to turn it down and sign with Seattle?

 

Seattle has no shot at a cup this season. Davos has a better shot at it. But the offer is interesting because the big money first year when they will suck and then a shot at a cup on year 2. But the question becomes does SWC3 want to suck for another year just so he gets a shot in the 2nd year? He does not want just a shot, he wants a guarantee wherever he goes will win the cup.

 

Where will SWC3 land? a decision is finally around the corner and on horizon. All you have to do is stay tuned and wait a few more hours... or about 24.
