jRuutu 2,475
The always so exciting and nervous moment of getting drafted is only a memory now, I got picked third overall by Quebec and I must admit that I´m quite pleased to be here. I think this team has potential to be big in the future. I will hopefully be able to help the team win games right away. Tough to say how well I play in my rookie year, I had pretty decent year in VHLM last year and I have been able to practice hard without any injuries during the off-season, so I´m hoping for a decent start on a personal level. If I play well, the team is that much closer to winning. What comes down to the whole teams chances this season, I don´t really know. We got a young team, so the ride will more than likely be bit rough, but I´m confident that we can surprise quite few and steal wins from bigger teams here and there. Will be interesting to see how the season starts, atmosphere and feeling inside the team is really positive at the moment. We lost or well, lost and lost, but they got traded to other teams and are not in the roster anymore, Sleeman and Dadonov in Cologne and Odinsson in Seattle. In return we got Bubba Nuck and multiple draft picks, also Gow joined as a free agent, so the future is looking pretty nice for Quebec, lots of draft picks with young players already in the roster. Just need to hope drafts in the next season or two have solid players for all positions, it´s always hard to say what kind of prospects join the draft, some drafts are just deeper and in general better than others, but that is why we have scouts watching these players, when draft years look bit slim, it´s crucial to have quality scouting team who can spot the hidden gems. It´s the same of course when the drafts are good and with a lot of solid prospects, need to be able to pick the right player for your team and organization. I might as well use this opportunity and share a inside scoop on the Thor Odinsson trade to Seattle. We have a special area here in Quebec where all the players can go and just relax and meditate after or before practice. Odinsson was put in charge to make sure the whole area is as relaxing as possible. Unfortunately things took a wrong turn quickly when Thor put pictures of naked females on the walls and spent at least 45 thousand dollars on porn magazines and book shelves. GM of Quebec was not pleased, as a fan of all things natural, seeing women with fake boobs was just too much, so he put Odinsson to the trade block and soon after he was traded to Seattle. That is of course only a rumour and you did not hear it from me. I tried to visit the mediation area, but all the doors are locked. Tagger 2,722
Oftentimes when I wish to experience tranquility, I wind up setting stuff on fire, so it's probably for the best that the meditation room is locked. jRuutu 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/35545-claimedfrom-saskatoon-to-quebec/#findComment-390027 Share on other sites

Guest
Approved! One note: I would like to see a formal title in the text of the article, not just the header of the topic. Not a big thing, but would be helpful. Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/35545-claimedfrom-saskatoon-to-quebec/#findComment-390836 Share on other sites
