League Leaders

Thanks to the @TheLastOlympian07 doing these and bringing them back to my attention we are back at it here as the regular season begins to wind down. In the years first installment of the league leaders, we’ll take a look at who’s leading the VHLM in goals and assists.

Current Leader in Goals: Franchise Cornerstone (45 Goals; 55 Games Played) 

Not too much of a surprise to those who follow the VHL to see Cornerstone on top of the league in goals. Cornerstone came into the league known as a sniper and Ottawa got just that when they selected him Second Overall in the past VHLM Dispersal Draft.  Cornerstone will likely have the practise hours to make the jump to the big leagues next season, so he’ll be giving it his all the next fifteen games to win some VHLM hardware in his one and only season in the league.

Current Leader in Assists: Robert Jelen (65 Assists, 55 Games Played)

Robert Jelen is a magic man. He is leading the VHLM in assists while also dressing for the HS Davos Dynamo for their VHL games. Unfortunately the very watchful VHLM Commissioner missed this over the course of the past fifty-five games. Will Jelen be the league leader in a few weeks, or will he find himself out of the VHLM?
