Smarch 3,153 Posted January 9, 2017 Share Posted January 9, 2017 Two Different Experiences As my time as a goaltender comes to a close in the VHL, I sit here and think to myself that I might have wasted a full calendar year in the league. I knew going in that being a goaltender wouldn’t be easy, but with agin netminders in the league at the time of my arrival I was hoping for more I guess you could say. My lack of success both personally and with each team I’ve been on hasn’t been because a lack of trying, as I will have over 1,000 TPE for my second straight player after five different players under 500 TPE. I’ve played on forty percent of the teams in the league with Weinstein, but never really my decision of where I wanted to go. I had full intentions of going to free agency as much as possible with Weinstein but ended up being a team player like always, something I am now beginning to regret. I wish I could have done more for the teams’ I was on but my player could never deliver in clutch moments. I consider myself lucky to have the results I did with Low and was obviously stupid to think I would come close with Weinstein, but dare to dream I guess.
