Veteran defenseman Jeff Hamilton is entering his eighth and final season in the Victory Hockey League. He's spent his career as a journeyman, making stops in Seattle, Quebec, Riga and Toronto after several free agency trials. Almost surprising to many is the simple fact that despite a lack of individual awards, Hamilton has a real shot to make it into the VHL's all-time top ten defenseman points in his last season - something that would or at least should easily qualify him into the Hall of Fame. In order to crack the top ten, Hamilton will need to record 92 points in his last season - not an impossible feat for the offensively-minded defenseman. The question is where will Hamilton finish his career?

"I want a chance to win the Cup again first and foremost. I'll have to see what my options are when free agency opens," Hamilton said.
