*HYPE!*

The media spot place is being very quiet lately. And I'm not going to change it, because this article is about an upcoming VHLM season and it's team chances. (I know how VHLM is ''popular'' in VHL world. :ph34r:)

:ber:Bern Royals:ber:

@BobertZ

Projected place: #7

This is a no-brainer: Bern will have an easy road to the first pick. I don't believe that either Gotze and Ofer are going to attend practice facility to ''save'' Bern from the last place and raise their value up for the potential trade. Even with the fact that @JPL still pops in, his rentability is still low for getting more than a third round pick. So Bern's GM is just going to hunt some players and try to trade them at the deadline for more smooth rebuild.

:brm:Brampton Blades:brm:

@Smarch

Projected place: #2

Smarch was stacking up for the S53 draft and we can see his plan worked very well. King, Fedorov, Jokinen + Sokolov (and Beaverton) after the trade - this team can rename them to Brampton Brick Wall already. The only concern is about their offenive side: outside of Leblanc, I'm seing bunch of 2nd-3rd line depth, most of them are active though. But they will need at least one more offensive leader to make things happen. Who's going to take this role? @Rowe89? @Spangle? Or @R1c3Muncher, who is still claiming some TPE's (surprisingly for me, I thought he's inactive already).

:brt:Bratislava Watchmen:brt:

me

Projected place: #5

Fifth or sixth place - I can't see my team higher than that after the championship season. I traded almost all my legit pieces, but Syndergaard and Ironside won't let Bratislava too much down. I tried to trade Aksel, but seems like @Mr. Power is going to call him up someday to NY, because they have so-so defence, so he's not really tradeable anymore, even though he's a two-year player. Sad lyf.

:ott:Ottawa Lynx:ott:

@JardyB10

Projected place: #3

Ottawa was a middle-pack team in last season and this season gives Jardy a chance to change it. I'm pretty sure Ottawa isn't going to finish below the third place - their offense is going to be pain in the ass for everybody. Like look at these names: Pablo, Fook Yu, MF Sharpe and Locke. I'm actually pumped for the Brampton vs Ottawa matches - a true offenese vs defence matchup. While Brampton's Achilles heel is offense, I fail to see at least one relevant defenseman for the Lynx...other than Jacob, the goalie. Will be interesting.

:osl:Oslo Storm:osl:

@TheLastOlympian07

Projected place: #6

Only one season of contending which ended in quaterfinal series against the Lynx - that's not the best outcome for a man who led Moscow to it's first and only cup. The other question is - why drafting two active goalies? I can imagine that @BobertZ will take his Axelberry to Bern for the third round pick, but other than that Oslo can finish even below Bratislava as their main guy is the goalie Manley. And why I'm feeling like TLO wants to step down...?

:ssk:Saskatoon Wild:ssk:

@The Bread Man

Projected place: #4

It's really tough call between competing and blowing it up. Right now Sasky has Jigglejawns, Gretzky, Styles and Hickey. I think this can turn into the decent roster:

1. Adwyer is successful at recruiting players to his team;

2. Rumors has it that he is about to get the better goalie than OLOPM.

I messaged him today and he said he will not compete. Or maybe he's just laying low to make a strike at the playoffs? Anyway, the Wild won't finish below the purple+green B's and Oslo.

:yuk:Yukon Rush:yuk:

@Streetlite

Projected place: #1

It's going to be a toss up between Yukon, Brampton and Ottawa, but I think the Rush has a better shot at the leading place, because their roster is more deeper. And an offense shows some promise as well - Krīgars, McChunky, Pastrnak and Aho are going to ''terrorrise'' their opposite goalies. mist4ke also can repeat his last season success and lead his team to the cup. He almost managed to snatch cup from Bratislava in last season, this time the roster is good enough to finish the 14-season cup drought. But if Street wants to secure the success, he will need to find some legit defenders (other than Dope Fiend) - it's not like mist4ke is going to save Yukon every game.

That's it and I'm out.

It will be close for sure. Brampton got a shitload of good players in the draft. I drafted two goalies as well though, so I'll be giving Alex Wolf starts for sure as long as he's here, which may or may not sacrifice some wins.
