Feedback:

- Woooo Champions!!

- Every series? haha that would be so nerve-wracking!

- I wasn't updated for the playoffs! And we still won. Thank goodness!

- Yea the Update scale changes! I think it will allow way more specialization - but let's see.. because I'm in the same boat as you now... except worse because I don't even do PTs regularly anymore

- lol more snow. Oh my goodness. Locusts and floods. Yes. You know it's bad when you bring a jacket when you go out and you're sweating.. .and then when you go home you are freezing

- I WILL WHEEL!

- Elephant, mushrooms, and something else. Nice. A mushroom walks into a bar, Bartender says "Hey! We don't allow your kind in here!" Mushroom goes "Why not? I'm an Fungi!"

- That's really interesting. A squish of stories!

- I shall tell you more about my reaction to it in a PM!

- I saw that update!

- oh yea - well yea! Cups for days!

- We have @JardyB10 on our team? Whhhhaa? nice.

- That weekend in Buffalo sounds nice.

- I hope you get that raise very soon man. I totally understand the frustration.

- gotta finish the rest of this podcast tomorrow. At 28:58.

I'll have more feedback as a whole after I listen to all of this, just wanted to get my thoughts out to try to clarify "who" exactly this update scale is for since you brought it up.

Technically it's for nobody, and in that way for everybody. It is very easy to initially look at the update scale change as harsh on members who earn less, and as such then allowing people who earn more TPE to then have more to do. But if you dig deeper into where exactly the attributes get "harsher" you see what we are actually trying to do is make sure the gap between players who earn TPE (yourself included) between players who earn more welfare is more in line.

Under this new scale a welfare player is more likely to update more of his attributes to 85-90, as opposed to a few attributes to 95+, because he has to spend more to get attributes higher than 85 than they used to. You are in an unusual boat yourself because you do earn 7+ per week, but remember the weekly cap is 9. However even in the old update scale, the odds of you maxing out a bunch of attributes with the exception of a couple few is very limited unless you decided to build a certain way that does that. In which case your likely giving up areas in other attributes. However we felt that this really wasn't the case in a lot of instance. Too many players between 300-500 TPE could go nuts on one attribute without even having to sacrifice much in other areas.

Remember under the old system, it was only 116 TPE to get an attribute to 99. Meaning if I really wanted I could be 99 skating, 99 scoring, and 99 pasing for under 400 TPE, and if they were at 400, they could up checking or other stats to closer to the high 80's yet on top of that. Should a 400 TPE player really be capable of leading the league in scoring when a 600+ TPE player can't use their extra TPE to any more advantage other than specializing? A lot of it really came down to, there is a limited amount of important attributes in STHS. So now ideally, and we'll see how it works in motion, more players will have to pay more consequences to get attributes to the high 90's. You saw with your new re roll, at over 600 TPE your still highly capable of building a very effective player, with multiple high attributes. But the gap between you and someone at 400 TPE is bigger now, as it should be, because that player will have a much harder time getting as many attributes to 99 until they earn closer to as much as you do. Which was the whole point. Those who earn should see the benefit of earning basically. Regardless if you earn like you do, or earn more and donations and are a TPE whore. It came to the point where we felt point tasks were starting to be seen as rather irrelevant, and we wanted to make the push to say yes, that extra 2+ TPE people earn a week from things other than welfare does make a difference.

Chooses Young Bucks then goes on to say "Jeff has always been a spot monkey." I knew I liked this guy from the get go! :D

Good cast overall. Gorlab goes till S56, so provided Ravenwing and Maxwell decided to stick on (which I'll say it's great to know your open to doing so) we can at least keep going with this group until 56 depending. Obviously by 56 we'll have more holes to fill, with potentially Maxwell/Ravenwing/Shankly/Sharpe and Digital as well as Power. The skeleton of a core is pretty much in tact going forward which was what I was trying to do. Ideally I'd like to see a bunch of you guys keep pounding away at the franchise all time stats, which I am happy to say you guys are already doing at a pretty rapid pace. But filling holes after we lose players is going to continue to remain the issue, especially as we stay competitive and the value of our picks stays so low. Free agency could be a big factor too, but it just depends on how things shake out.

Anyway, good listen as always sir. Gave me something to listen too while I finished compiling those all time stats to put into my own MS....

You're an OG gambino fan if you kno this song lol

I actually dislike a lot of his more recent stuff. Culdesac was a masterpiece, and I say that as someone who doesn't like rap at all.

That all makes sense to a degree, but I still feel like I'm being punished even as a really active player, just because I'm not donating money and only have one job. Maybe welfare claims should have been reduced instead.

I don't dislike Jeff, but my two favorite moments from him were the triple threat I mentioned and his match versus Taker for the strap. My favorite Jeff-related segment is this, though:
