As it turns out, Shawn Brodeur can play net and do a decent job. After losing game 1 against the Yukon Rush, the Aces have won 6 games in a row including 2 in the finals against the Ottawa Lynx. Brodeur has a record of 6-1-0 with a 0.902 save percentage and a 2.63 G.A.A. That is not a bad statline considering how the regular season went where Brodeur was mostly just in the net and being carried by his offense. It remains to be seem if Brodeur can keep up his play because the man in the other crease is Ike Irkander who had a very good regular season but is struggling in the playoffs with a 4-2-2 record and a 0.886 save percentage with a 3.01 G.A.A. However, as we seen in the past we know if Irkander gets on his game the Aces could be in trouble especially if Brodeur reverts back to his old ways.
