Symmetrik 102
I guess I accidentally made 2 press conferences? Oh well Quik's q's and answers from 2 weeks ago On 2/20/2018 at 2:58 PM, Quik said: As you step into the role of #1 defenceman on the Wranglers, what can the world expect from you this coming season? You've put in a lot of hours in the gym lately, is this a new you, and do you think you can be one of those rare players who blossoms in the back half of their careers? As your agent represents players in different leagues, how do you feel about the new partnership between the VHL, EFL and SBA? @Symmetrik On 2/22/2018 at 2:45 PM, Symmetrik said: Hopefully I can contribute lots on both sides of the puck, it'll be a big task but I think I'm ready for it, hopefully lots of points and shot blocks, and not many turnovers and all in all most importantly it contributes to wins for the Wranglers. I hope so. It's been a struggle at times but I think coming to Calgary last season helped keep me motivated and now this season the league has a lot more hype and excitement about it in general. I think it's a fantastic partnership, will really benefit both leagues and I think especially VHL. Symmetrik 102
New Questions On 2/26/2018 at 10:33 AM, Quik said: @Symmetrik The entire VHL fan base has been caught off guard by your white hot start to the season, carrying the Wranglers into an early playoff conversation. What have you done differently to prepare for this season? I definitely put in a lot more work in the offseason to prepare, but I think what really helped was coach trusting me with the minutes and the role where I could play my game and contribute. We've been putting everything together, and things are really starting to click. Players in every role are making the contributions we need them to, and I think we can keep it up and make the playoffs. 2. This season has been great for me personally, I'm really glad I've been able to contribute the way I've wanted to. 3. I don't know how close to the end of my career I am, but I enjoy being a Wrangler and don't really see a reason to leave ever. 4. I'm extremely happy with this program, I think it's great for a lot of players, myself included. The joint training program is going to really help keep a lot of young VHL players interested in the league and having EFL players pushing them to be better should be really beneficial. 5. I think Alex Pietrangelo is a good model for my game. Jacob Trouba is another good player. Commissioner Beketov 9,090 Posted March 9, 2018 Commissioner Share Posted March 9, 2018 1. You currently sit 6th in points and 2nd in Defensemen points. Why do you think you have had such success this season? 2. Calgary is currently fighting with Riga for the last playoff spot. There is still lots of hockey left to play but do you think that Calgary will be able to get into that final playoff spot?
