Hello everybody and welcome back to What's in the Fridge, today we are exploring the world of the VHL for the first time. Here at Barstool Sports we look for our favourite players and try to get them on the show. Today, we have Josh Stronk with us. Josh is a Wranglers Prospect, currently playing for the Yukon Rush. If you haven't of heard him yet, you can check him out playing for the Yukon Rush or listen to the Stronk Show. We in the office love/loved the Stronk Show. It is definitely worth a listen. Long story Stronk. When Josh is on the ice, he becomes what he calls, Stronkowski. Josh loses all control of his body and in a sort of Hulk rage, another side takes him over. So he plays in Saskatoon for a year once he leaves his hometown. Gets drafted to Stockholm, visits the team and Stronkowski takes over. Josh is a hostage in his own body. He goes back to Saskatoon for a season but is still not back in his normal form. Finally, Josh takes control over again. Plays a bit for Saskatoon but gets traded to the historic Yukon Rush. They are currently tearing up the VHLM and are breaking records. Let's get Josh on the show. How's it going Josh?

 

Pretty fucking good guys, it is cold AF, I am scoring a shit ton here and I am not talking points if you know what I mean. The girls in Yukon are the worst out of the three places I have been. Stockholm first, then Sasky, then Yukon. Doesn't mean I don't pull constant 8s. It also helps that the Rush are KILLING it. The GM or some guy in the RUsh, told me that we broke the record for wins in a row. 30, 30 goddam wins. I have approximately the same amount of games played in Sask and Yukon this season and around the same amount of point but boy I got a killer plus minus. 17 over 25 games compared to 0 over 24. You can see the difference in the quality of teams. No offense to the Wild, I fucking loved it there.

 

Next year, you should be heading to the big league. The Victory Hockey League. How do you think you'll do there?

 

I am gonna kill it, I kill it wherever I go. Just look at my shooting %. I score many goals with few shots. I am efficient as fuck. I think I will do fine. MIght make an all-star in my prime but I don't think I will ever be a 1C. I will definitely be a leader for the Wranglers for life. The only girl I will ever wife is Calgary.

 

Some might say that you are a bit too vulgar and might have attitude problems, is this at all true?

 

Fucking bullshit, everyone loves me. I may be very broish but that's me. I get along with everyone and they get along with me. Someday, I will mellow out but for now. I am living the life.
