You've done a real good job of making his jersey stand out, even with the same colour back ground. There is some food saturation and contrast to his head which makes the focal point of the render. Looks cool to me. Your light exposure could be a tad more brighter and correlate a touch more with his face. I actually like your font as it has a horror style feel to it.Think though maybe in white or a touch lighter to contrast more. I think it looks pretty good.
