It's getting to be a little story book, we're facing our rivals "One team, One goal" or the navy colored t-shirt team that we were beating, got rained out, then they stomped us during the second game of a double header.

Welp, we lost the championship game 3-1.  I played well but we just could not set up any offense against them.  It sucked, especially because our team captain is moving next week and this was our kind of last hurrah for him.  It stung.  We went and got beers after but nobody really said much.  A bitter ending to such a sweet season.

 

But thats behind us now!

 

Yesterday was our first game of the summer league.  I'm team captain now and we were a bit short handed for our first game but we kicked ass!  Handzus Job 2.0 won the game 7-3.  I played like trash. let in two easy goals, but it didn't matter!

 

Looking forward to popping champagne bottles this year.
