So, I just realized that I passed 1000 TPE. Took me a couple days to realize, which is probably the only downfall with the new way of updating, if you're banking TPE, it's really easy to forget how much you have. This is the first time I've passed the millenial mark in all my years in the VHL, so it's pretty cool and kind of a big deal. Except it's not really any more. If you knock the 3 TPE/week that was added off my totals, I think I've had Johnsson for about 53 weeks? Sounds about right. That's ~160 TPE knocked off my totals right there. Then if we remove the donations I made in the first few seasons of my career, I think I made 4, that's another ~60ish that I never had access to back when my other players were in the league. Altogether, there's between 220-250 TPE that I probably never would have had access to in previous careers - if I had access to the extra TPE with Bailey, for example, he would have ended with probably an extra 300 TPE, so around 1250, if not more.

 

All of this is not to say 1000 isn't an achievement, it definitely is, and I'm proud of it - few guys get up there any more, only 4 players will go into next season above 1000 (maybe 5 if @Beaviss gets his shit together), and after that there's only 3 other players with a realistic shot of hitting 1000 in the next 3 seasons. It's just a weird feeling that I hit it without really noticing when I did.
