Baltimore - Hometown hockey star Dylan Nguyen has reportedly returned home from Canada following his teams elimination from the VHLM playoffs. Nguyen is reportedly working with his personal trainers here in Baltimore as the VHL draft, and the new season creep ever closer. As Dylan Nguyen prepares for next season, we are looking ahead to what this offseason will bring him.

First, Dylan Nguyen could be sporting a new jersey come next season. Since Nguyen was picked up from waivers this season his name will be not only in the VHL draft, but the VHLM draft too. This means that Dylan Nguyen could finish out his last season in the VHLM with a different team. Now, Saskatoon does have the first pick in the VHLM and could elect to keep their star player but anything is possible. We spoke with Nguyen about his situation and he said “The Wild are in a tough position, I mean they have to choose between a couple of good young rookies on who to keep on the team and build around. Most likely this means I’ve played my last game with those guys and that sucks. I would love to stick around here in Saskatoon but if they choose to build around Ryuu Crimson or someone else that's not me, I completely understand. I will always have a special connection with Saskatoon for the opportunity they gave me to play, whether they pick me or let me go, I will always love this team. But no matter who I’m playing for next season I want to be holding up that VHLM Cup”. Clearly Nguyen is preparing for the worst possible outcome, but it seems that he truly does want to stay with the Wild.

After the VHLM Draft, Nguyen will then face the VHL Draft. He has been working hard trying to show teams that he is worth a top 10 pick. We here at the Baltimore Sun certainly think he is worth it, but it remains to be seen if VHL GMs see any value in the young defense-man. In recent mock drafts Nguyen has been connected with the Riga Reign, who have a couple top 10 picks that they could use to snag the kid. We asked Dylan on if he preferred to play for a certain VHL team, his response “Nah, I just want to hear my name called in the top 10. After that it’s right down to business helping whoever I'm playing for win games. That’s all there is too it really”. Nguyen certainly is intent on being a top 10 pick and his hunger to win is as strong as ever. Wherever he does end up, they will be getting a steal.

The future looks bright for the Baltimore native, as he continues to pursue his dreams of being a top VHL player. Everyone here at the Baltimore Sun knows that this kid is going to be something special. So with eager eyes we look toward the future and wait to see what Dylan Nguyen becomes.

Nice write up Nguyen.

Your sentence structure, phrasing and punctuation are good.

Any other time you do a write up, try and add a pic if you can.

Good job N!
