The Quebec City Meute were left in a very difficult position when former GM Frank suddenly disappeared, leaving the team in a state of disrepair. After adding some foundational pieces such as Veran Dragomir, Tristan Iseult, Beau Louth, Samuel Gate and Marvin Harding by the time Season 61 rolled around, the team was in position to build a strong draft haul in the Season 62 draft. Armed with two consecutive first round selections, as well as four second rounders in a five pick span, the team added some massive talent. Getting Rauno Palo and Vesto Slipher in the first round was a big addition, as both are close to as developed as Harding despite being a year younger. Then, in the second round, the team added Oleksiy Revchenko, Karl von Moltke, Lando Baxter, and Roctrion King. Revchenko and von Moltke are represented by agencies that have made a name for themselves representing players in other leagues in the recent past, while Baxter and King have shown great enthusiasm in their early VHLM careers as potential high-effort earners. The full ramifications of this draft won't be felt for another season or two, but Quebec has a legitimate chance to do some massive, serious damage in the VHL as the Season 60s reach their midway point.
