1. Lucy did an excellent job setting the team up for the future and was able to build an incredible culture, helping players to max out TPE earnings and make the team the fastest growing group in the VHLM.

 

2. Yes! Waiting to be drafted in the pro-Am and hoping to apply for WJC and the Jr. Showcase soon.

 

3. Impressing - Matvei Michkov - biased answer but he's even better than I expected him to be as a rookie and easily winning the Calder.

Disappointing - Brad Marchand - he just does not look the same now and you have to wonder if age is catching up to him.

 

4. Nordiques. I own too much Nordiques gear as it is, but Québec needs a team.

 

5. Herr's Old Bay Chips. 10/10 and a good go-to with a hoagie.

 

6. Honestly, just taking some time off and spending it with friends and family. That and not having to make a commute for a few weeks.

1. Clearly her biggest impact is bringing me here. But more honestly, I think the thing that really stood out for me was how interactive, engaging and active she helped make the lockerroom seem. She was very good at getting some form of interaction going.

 

2. Not in ProAM because I am a silly goose. But maybe the WJC. I'm still adjusting to everything with the game, so it's taking a moment to relearn everything.

 

3. Honestly think I'm going to go with a non-Leafs answer here and go with the two most recent phenoms. Michkov has been absolutely killing it, and Bedard has... impressively fallen flat. Though he also doesn't have... well. Teammates.

 

4. As a Canadian, I feel like I have to answer the Nordiques. I think bringing back the Quebec rivalary would be pretty damn dope.

 

5. Lays baked BBQ, or really any kind of kettle chip. Recently had some Doritos that were Cool Ranch mixed with Intense Dill that was pretty good.

 

6. Listen, I know my answer is technically a present, but I'm a rulebreaker. The answer is new socks. Gosh I've become a boring adult. But fine, if it isn't socks then, my answer would be Peppermint Bark.

1.  I couldn’t have asked for a better GM to have when joining the league. Lucy has helped me more than everyone in the league combined. And thats not even an exaggeration. It really goes to show how loved as a GM and person she is when the whole team wants to go play with her in Malmo. 
 

2. Yes. I will be signing up to play and GM all of them if possible. 
 

3. Michkov has really been impressive this year. Every time I see him play I see something new. Disappointing has to be Fedotov. Hes been getting better and it seems like he just needs time to continue adapting. But the beginning of the season he was a flaming pile of hot stinky garbage. 
 

4. Has to be the Nordiques. As annoying as Quebecois are that team was really cool.

Lucy had an incredible impact on me and all of Halifax, SHE CONVINCED ME TO OPEN FORUMS I HATE OPENING FORUMS AND NOW HERE I AM DOING IT AGAIN WTF!??! But the showing of her great impact on Halifax is yet to come. The dynasty that was built by Lucy shall be Championed by a different gm. It's sad she didn't get to see the fruits of her labor, but I have no doubt she can replicate the success she would've had with Halifax in Malmo. BEST OF LUCK LUCY!!!

1. I would say it was a major impact as she did build a competitive team from new players and old. Which I feel like is a feat with the disappearance of the VHLE. 

2. Nope or rather not sure.

3. I would say Lukas Dostal has been performing well despite having only played backup minutes to john gibson. As for disappointing, well I guess I would say the Avs goaltending tandem before they were traded.

6.Heading back to my high school this year for our local hockey tournament. I get to ref and play lol.

1 She brought me in as a later round pick and trusted me to be the third and fourth line center. I will always appreciate that.

 

2 No. I'm really busy with life can't afford to add other things to my plate.

 

3 Dostal has been amazing to start the season. Steven Stamkos on the Preds has to have been one of the offseason moves that the team regrets.

 

4 Honestly, with them currently out of the league, Arizona.

1. I'm really sad to see her go but her impact was big she led us to the playoffs

5. What is your favorite part about your position?

1 it went as well as could be expected with a new GM at the helm. 

 

2 I hope we can, though I think Ottawa is in good position after getting there last year. 

 

3 Steven Nichols could be the best candidate. His offensive game continues to grow, and his paint could be the key to his breakout. 

 

4 Probably a feral dog, though I'm not going to want to find out.

 

5 Dictating the way the game gets played. Faceoffs and passing are the primary functions of a center, and that's the best part of being one.

 

6 My family doesn't do anything too odd for Christmas.

1. Lucy was genuinely an amazing GM and friend! You could really tell she was passionate about her role, and her efforts were clearly reflected on the team. She was the first friend I made here and she was always super sweet and willing to help me navigate/understand the forum, which I appreciated a lot  

 

2. No, but I hope to be selected for the world juniors in the future

 

3. I don't watch many games but I'm happy to watch anyone on the Penguins unless they lose

 

4. Again, I don't watch much hockey but it'd be nice if they brought the Thrashers back to Atlanta

1. Id say it went better then expected. We managed to get back a player from last season and a free agent. 

2. No clue. I'm horrible with predictions lol. 

3. I'm gonna say Chad Powers. He is no longer in a backup role and with more experience compared to last season, is gonna do great.

1. Lucy made Halifax probably the most fun and exciting place to be. She turned a rag tag group of misfits into a team that had a shot of making a run in the playoffs. 
 

2.  Yes, I’m GMing and playing for both the WJC and Pro-am. So life has been busy. 
 

3.  Michkov is looking really good and making it hard to even consider any competition in the Calder. The most disappointing has probably been Silovs. I was really expecting him to have a stronger season but hes been struggling. 
 

4. Nordiques. Mainly so we can break up the Canadian fanbase and have them kill each other. 
 

5.   Herr’s Rippled Sour Cream and Onion

 

6. The food and having a good excuse to start drinking at breakfast.
