Team World wrapped up selection camp for the World Junior Hockey Championship this morning, naming its 15 man roster. Along with the roster, the team named its leadership group for the tournament.

Las Vegas Aces captain Jorgon Weyed will captain the group. He is one of the most experienced players on the team, and will be counted on to lead a very young forward group. The Jamaican is a offensive dynamo and a top prospect for the Quebec City Meute

Mountain Thunderfist, rookie defenseman for the Seattle Bears, will serve as alternate captain this year. The hulking defender is racking up the hits and blocked shots this year, and will be expected to do the same for the underdog squad.

Piotr Jerwa will be the other alternate captain. The offensive defenseman is averaging over a point per game with the Saskatoon Wild. He is considered a top prospect for the S64 draft.
