Commissioner Beketov 9,140 Posted December 12, 2018 Commissioner Share Posted December 12, 2018 So I did finally listen to this. Yeah, I really don’t miss the old days in a lot of ways. When I started even hockey sims ran off EA games so sims toook several hours, were a pain to update, and didn’t keep any kind of decent stats. Honestly the VHL has survived for a number of reasons but finding STHS is a main one; or at least it was early on. Back in the day I don’t think any sim leaguer would have believed if someone said there would be a league that would be still going 11 and a half years after its creation. We like to keep ourselves looking young haha. I think when I joined the VHL the longest running league I had ever seen was a bit over a year and a half so it’s crazy that we’ve been going for a decade more than that.
