Hybrid1486 577 Posted December 20, 2018 Share Posted December 20, 2018 (edited) So, due to a cap crunch coming along in Quebec, I've been traded to the Helsinki Titans in what is essentially a three-way trade that also involved Toronto. Here's what it looked like, put together: Quebec loses: Vesto Slipher (that's me) Luc-Pierre Lespineau-Lebrunette S65 2nd (Quebec) and receives: S65 1st (Helsinki) S65 2nd (Toronto) S66 2nd (Toronto) Helsinki loses: S65 1st (Helsinki) and receives: Vesto Slipher (that's me again) S65 2nd (Quebec) Toronto loses: S65 2nd (Toronto) S66 2nd (Toronto) and receives: Luc-Pierre Lespineau-Lebrunette When I spell it out like that, it makes me feel good that I was traded for a first. Also, I've always been pretty fond of Helsinki, aside from when Felix Leiter was drafted there in S31 right between the two expansion teams I really wanted to go to. I also like that @Quik is my GM on the Titans again, which really takes me back to my first honest return to the league. That said, I'm coming up on the last season of my contract, and I've never actually hit free agency as an active player. I could put it off for a season or two, but I'm pretty set on making it there at least once. Will that happen after this season? Possibly. We'll see.
