Jesse Nyman 8
Name: Jesse Nyman Age: 16 Height: 6' 2" Weight: 176 LBS Hometown: Espoo, Finland Position: Left Winger Current team: Houston Bulls Junior team: Espoo Blues Jesse Nyman growing up in Espoo, Finland Nyman played lots of sport, playing floorball, soccer and basketball. He started play hockey at the age of 8 and he made the chose to play only hockey at the age of 15 when he moved to America. Now he is looking to take his talent to America and is ready to take that next step in his career hoping to make the big league some day. He has very good hockey IQ and has shooting first mentality. PROS Scoring – Nyman has always had his nose in the net, this started with his early sporting career in floorball, soccer and basketball, being the top goal scorer in his junior teams. With this love for being the hero he has focused his training in to shooting drills and that has been a good desicion. He can both pick the corner with his extremely accurate wrist shot or to blast it past the goalie with his hard slap shot. He doesn`t need lot of space to score with his quik release. Skating – Nyman is a really fast skater. He can make plays in high speed, he can get to open ice really fast and it's hard for the opponent to be in front of him as he is so fast with his feet. He was one of the fastest skaters in Finland. And his speed is totally not going to be wasted in America. He uses his speed to get in to scoring places and he is, because of his speed, always getting back to defense. Puck handling – Something that pairs well with his fast skating is his ability to handle the puck. He is excellent at a keeping the puck on his stick and getting around defenders, and is not often stripped of the puck. CONS Defense – There times when Nyman has his leg already in offensive zone and is often over playing in own zone. His positioning in the defensive zone needs work, and many times he turns the puck over due to a questionable passing plays. In these situations, he is quik to accept the blame. While he is fast to get back to defense his defensive game need to get a lot better and that is something he is working on. Faceoffs – Nyman will not be taking faceoffs anytime soon. He has not taken single faceoff in his entire sport career. This could come back to bite him but it seems like he will be fine. Checking – Nyman is times to lose the puck when someone is coming to hit him and he is looks scared to hit. That is something he is working on in the gym by getting stronger so he could hit people. HenrikZoiderberg 469
Review: Good picture and formatting, stats section is solid. Good job on the summary, could use a conclusion at the end though. A few grammar things, like: On 5/21/2019 at 6:55 AM, Jesse Nyman said: And his speed is totally not going to be wasted in America. Don't start a sentence with a conjunction. Run this through a grammar checker if you're having trouble or reach out to me or one of the writers. Content is good though, keep it up!
