Toronto, 24 march 2014.

Remy LeBeau called out a press conference today and due to being late in his career many had expected this to be the announcement of his retirement. When he came to the microphone he had the following to say.

Thanks all of coming out here today, as many of you maybe had expected I did not come here to announce my retirement of professional hockey just yet. However next season will be my last one in the Victory Hockey League. Today my fiancée and me had our first sonograph today and we found out everything was in place. Even though it's still early and it won't be until November that we will become parents, I have decided not to continue playing hockey at any level and stop after Season 38, my last season with the Toronto Legion.

Quite an announcement of Remy LeBeau who with this announcement is stepping in the footsteps of Ethan Osborne who is retiring to be there for his family after this season. A true baby boom in the VHL is upcoming?
