Name: Ryan

Last Name: Busser

Position: Right Wing

Jersey Number: #8

Age: 25

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 172 lbs

Hometown: Vancouver, BC

Handedness: Right

Busser missed the VHLM drafted years ago and never got drafted into the league, after that he declared for the RHLM draft instead and ended up being picked 5th overall by Moscow-Spartak Spartak where he spent the last 6 seasons, winning a championship at age 23 and racking up 342 regular season points in 358 games . Now at age 25, Ryan will be a member of the San Diego Marlins, signing a 1-year contract worth 1.5M and will finally get his shot in the Victory Hockey League Minors sliding into a top six position on the right side.

Pros

Skating - He has explosive speed and has potential to be one of the fastest players in the league if he continues practicing, with his small size it's easy for him to dash past defenders and go 1 on 1 with the goalie, they called him the "roadrunner" when he was playing overseas.

Puck Handling - He is best known for his slick moves, with plenty of tricks in his bag at least somebody will get embarrassed every game, he has hundred of highlights playing in Russia and many of them have over a million hits. This is his main skill and you'll most likely see it shine in the VHLM.

Passing - He possesses unique ability to find his teammates for shots anywhere on the ice, despite being blocked by players much larger than him. Some scouts say he just gets lucky but others are calling him a magician, this is something we'll have wait and see when he plays on a higher stage.

Cons

Checking - You won't see another player that checks less, hits are rarely taken and non-lethal, the impact will hurt him more than the person receiving the hit. He usually tries to find space instead and stay away from anybody on the ice and never learned how to check when he was younger and it is evident.

Strength - You see most players go to the gym everybody but you wont see him go at all and he's allergic to most kinds of meat so that kind of rules out a lot of potential. The spot you will see him is on the track most often than not and if you catch him at lunch expect to see him eating a salad. He doesn't believe in working out and the healthy life style is easier to maintain and claims it yields better results but the research has yet to be done. Don't expect this area to improve during his career.

Defense - You would think a speedster could easily keep up with other players in the league but in the Russian Hockey League Minors he rarely attempted to help his team on defense and when he did it was like the team had a 5 on 4 most games and the coach only gave him short shifts but a lot of them. If he wants to compete with the big boys this is something he has to improve on.

Overall

Ryan Busser will be a great addition to any lineup with his very unique abilities and should be a great player for years to come. He will bring loyalty and competitiveness and wants to prove he can do what it takes to be a top player in the Victory Hockey League Minors.

This motherfucker looks like the kind of person who'd try to trademark a nickname.

Solid summary, that stat block looks really nice as well. Nice touch.

Victory Junior Hockey League

I actually don't know the answer to this, but is that what VHLM is an acronym for? I thought it would be Victory Hockey League Minors or something.

Pros, Cons, Conclusion, and formatting are all good. Good profile!
