Personally I think it'd be better if you didn't cut the render in half, because it looks like Karlsson's head/shoulders are just floating there. You could move it down to the bottom, so it looks like the bottom is just cut off by the image, or include all of Karlsson's back. Yeah I was trying to blend it so that the cut wouldn't be so jarring but moving it down would be a much easier fix.
