Vandalism in Philadelphia

Breaking news out of Philadelphia, vandalism has been spotted at the Brickwall Tavern. It appears that some of the bricks in their walls have been replaced with cinder blocks that have ducks painted on them. Brickwall has been known as a place that some members or the Philadelphia Reapers visit after tough losses or trying practices, and in particular, a group that included Cinnamon Block, Fang Flashback, Alex Pearson, & Condor Adrienne were rowdier than usual the night before the vandalism was spotted. Rumor has it that the group were quite upset over the start of their playoff series against the Minnesota Storm, and they may have been letting out some built up frustration over it. The incident may also be related to a disruption that occurred at the Reapers' practice facility earlier this week, where Calgary star goalie Brick Wahl, clearly upset over his loss to Vancouver, showed up at practice. Wahl seemed hostile towards some of the players, in particular Flashback and his inflatable duck. Wahl also seemed to spend a lot of attention on Cinnamon Block, creeping out a lot of onlookers who seemed quite unnerved by some of his actions. The team was particularly upset by his antics in general, especially since there were reports of VHL scouts attending the practice as well. While there are currently no leads on the source of vandalism, Philadelphia PD is conducting an investigation and may be questioning some of the Reapers players in the future.

Sources say Brick is keeping some if the Cinder Blocks because it reminds him of someone he likes. “ If you’re not from Philadelphia you might not get the duck but I know why the guys did this. Think i’ll keep one wall as is, they really added character for the local fans.  I think the Philly locals will eat this stuff up. They really love their team. I wish the Good luck to the Reapers and ask them to work on the bar backsplash next time” Brick says with a wink to the reporter and then laughs looking at the Reapers handy work.
