Nate Telker rises in the draft rankings as draft day gets closer

Nate Telker is coming off of a strong finish to last season. After being off the scoring sheet for his first 20 games, he finished out the last 14 games with 6 assists. he rose 5 spots from last weeks rankings, which leaves him sitting at 56th overall. Telker commented about his improved play and the draft. "It felt good to finish out the season strong. Getting on the board those final games felt good." He was then asked about the draft. "I'm obviously really excited for the day, but I try not to let it effect me on the ice. I hope that I can be a big impact to whichever team picks me up." Telker took a week off to relax and vacation with his family, but he's already hitting his summer gym plan and practicing on the ice multiple times a week. The draft is just weeks away and Telker hopes that those last few games got him a couple of double takes.
