Minnesota Storm rages on

By Steven Brockman

The Minnesota Storm have proven a lot of critics wrong this series. Currently the Storm have a 3-1 series lead over the Philadelphia Reapers. The storm were given their first loss in the third game of the series, when they lost in a close 3-2 contest.

This leaves the Storm with a playoff record of 7-1. With the Storm finishing the regular season in 3rd place and the Reapers finishing in 2nd it was expected that the Reapers would have the advantage in the series. It has been thanks to Ligriv the newly acquired goaltender for the Storm has definitely helped keep the team in all games.

We asked assistant captain Berocka Sundqvist how he felt about the series so far and this is what he said.

"I am happy with how the team has performed so far and the locker room is in high spirits. I am making sure that the team knows this isn't over yet and we need to keep working. The loss to the Reapers I think helped us mentally. We know now we are not invincible and we need to work extremely hard to win this cup. I think we have what it takes and it should be a great run."

Tune in for the next game where the Storm visit the Reapers.
